Read a delightful children's book displayed along the trails in the Children's Garden this month! StoryWalk® is a series of signs featuring pages from a children's book, and as you stroll down the trail, you're directed to the next page in the story. It's a fun and educational way for children and adults to enjoy reading and the outdoors all at the same time.
October's StoryWalk® will feature the children’s book Bo the Bat by Alma Hammond. Read about fun-loving Bo as he teaches us all the good things about bats and the importance of learning about someone before judging them. This self-led activity will be available to all visitors of the EWBC during regular business hours until October 31st.
Each Sunday afternoon, the EWBC offers nature programs for families and the general public. Reservations are not required, but group size is limited. All programs are free with paid admission or membership. For more information, please call us at (956) 381-9922
